PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use
the information that we collect in accordance
with
the Data Protection Act 1998.
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process
your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.We
will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your
consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing e-mail
from us
at the bottom of our e-mails.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:·

- Address
- Delivery Address
- Phone Number
- E-mail Address
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your
explicit consent. The personal information which we hold will be
held securely in accordance with our internal security policy. We
may use technology to track the patterns of behavior of visitors
to our site. We do not
disclose any of your information to third parties.

SECURITY
POLICY
We have an effective security policy that we review regularly.
All credit card details are processed online using WORLDPAY
which uses secure 128 bit encryption over an SSL (secure socket
layer) connection. Credit card details are not stored after
they have been processed.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations can be made by calling us
on 01562 700 551 within 48 hours of placing your initial order,
the order can be cancelled with all money being returned minus
the credit card charge within 30 days. Unfortunately our banking
service provider makes a charge for all card transactions which
we bear. In the event that you cancel the order we will refund
you your money less that charge.
RETAIL ORDERS
Payment by credit card, cheque, postal order or money order in
advance of dispatch.
TITLE OF GOODS (retail customers)
Goods supplied by Asian Home Gourmet Direct to
customers remain the property of the company, until paid for in
full by the customer.
PRICES
Orders are subject to acceptance by the company and to availability
of goods and will be invoiced at prices ruling at the time
of acceptance. Asian Home Gourmet Direct reserves the right to substitute
products of equal or greater value to compensate for out of
stock items.
DELIVERY/SHIPPING
Orders
placed will be delivered within 28 days maximum, unless we have
contacted
you and agreed alternative terms. (Usually orders are dispatched
within 72 hours of receipt of order as long as all goods are
in stock, if something is out of stock we will notify you before
the goods are dispatched). Alternatively you may wish to collect
your order from our offices by prior arrangement.
Delivery is via standard forst class Royal Mail letter post or
Parcel Post and delivery time is in accordance with this. Where
parcels can not be delivered a Royal Mail calling card is left and
it is your responsibility to collect your items.
Someone needs to be available at the customer's elected
delivery address.
DELIVERY CHARGES
These are calculated in accordance with the weight of each individual
product. Postage costs are in addition to this and are calculated
by the shipments total weight. Total postage and packing costs therefore
vary depending upon your order and are summarised in the final stages
of the checkout.
RETURNS
In the event of a claim needing to made please contact us
via telephone: 01562 700 551 or e-mail: sales@asianhomegourmetdirect.co.uk within
48 hours of the delivery.
All goods must be checked and counted upon receipt. Any shortages
must be brought to our attention firstly by email sales@asianhomegourmetdirect.co.uk

We will provide a full refund (excluding delivery charges) if the
product you have selected is found to be unsuitable within 7 working
days following delivery, providing the product is returned in it’s
original box, in ‘as new’ and unmarked condition complete
with all packaging and accessories.
No returns will be entertained unless the above conditions are
strictly adhered to.
No credit or refund will be give for any goods ordered in error
by the customer.
No credit or refund will be given for any losses due to the incorrect
storage or merchandising by the customer, of any goods supplied
by Asian Home Gourmet Direct.
Please read and adhere to the
care instructions that are supplied with all our products.
None of the foregoing effects your statutory rights as a consumer.
COMPLAINTS
If you find that you are not satisfied with any product or service
please feel free to contact our customer service department
at sales@asianhomegourmetdirect.co.uk.
We will endeavor to resolve any claim made a soon as possible.
MISTAKES
IN PAYMENTS
Any mistakes in payments will be rectified as soon as possible,
and at the latest within 30 days of agreeing to do so.
GUARANTEE
All goods offered by the company are guaranteed to meet statutory
requirements. However, the company cannot accept responsibility
where goods supplied are subject to further processing or repackaging
by the customer.
We accept credit card payments with most popular cards.
All of our food products are zero rated for VAT purposes.
